Professional Development for art teachers

The following Danforth Art School classes are offered to studio art teachers and instructors for Professional Development Points free of charge, or, for graduate credit available through Framingham State University for an additional fee. Please see details regarding fees and credits below the grid.

Registration Fees, Professional Development Points, and Graduate Credits

A registration fee, payable to Danforth Art at the time of registration whether online, by phone, or in person, is required for all Danforth Art School Professional Development courses. Unless otherwise noted, these courses are eligible for Massachusetts Department of Education Professional Development Points free of charge. The number of PDPs issued is listed in the class description.

Danforth Art School Professional Development courses are applicable for graduate credits through Framingham State University. There is a fee of $225 additional charge due as a separate check made out to Framingham State University and sent to the Danforth Art School Office before the first class. You will also be required to fill out additional forms for Framingham State University. Credit will not be given for classes taken multiple times. Please see class description for the number of credits available per class.

Other Danforth Art studio art classes (unless specifically stated) are not eligible solely for Massachusetts Professional Development Points at this time.
