Danforth Art is pleased to present an exhibition of illustrations from the book Moby Dick: Chasing the Great White Whale, by artist Andrew Glass. Herman Melville’s epic tale is transformed into a sea shanty by author Eric A. Kimmel and brought to life by Glass’s vibrant and compelling oil and pencil illustrations.
This exhibition is part of a collaboration with the 2013 Framingham Reads Together Program, a town-wide program centered this year around Nathaniel Philbrick’s novel In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex.
Andrew Glass is the author and illustrator of many books for children.
