Creativity Grows Here! Summer Arts is a series of fun and engaging week-long studio art classes that promote creativity, and are tailored for children of all levels of ability. Create art in many mediums—drawing, painting, sculpture, and more—inspired by the natural world and by artwork on view in our Museum galleries.
*Register by March 1st and save $40 off the regular, non-member rate on each week-long class.
8 week-long sessions—Attend for just one week, a couple of weeks, or the whole summer!
Register for morning (9am–12pm), afternoon (1pm—4pm), or both

Week-long classes for children going into grades 1-8. Different nature-based themes each week.
Grades 1–4: 2D (drawing\painting\construction), or 3D (sculpture\construction), or clay classes
Grades 5–8: Foundation classes exploring specific artists’ materials and techniques
Special, week-long intensives, taught by professional artists and college instructors, for teens entering grades 9–12. AM and PM Classes available. See our Teen Art Classes page for details.

* Friday Art Celebrations: Afternoon extended day runs Monday through Thursday only. Friday classes will end with a celebration of student creativity. Please plan to attend our Student Art Exhibition Receptions on Fridays (11:45am–12pm for morning students; 3:45–4:00pm for afternoon and all-day students).
** Special Note for Session 2: Due to the holiday, Student Art Receptions will be held on Thursday, July 2rd, at 11:45am and at 3:45pm. There will be no PM extended day on Thursday.
