In May, Danforth Art received the unexpected notice that we must vacate the Danforth Building in this fall. Two generous supporters kicked off #GoForthDanforth with $130,000 and challenged our community to help fund this unexpected—and unbudgeted—move.

Financial contributions made at this time support the immediate needs of the organization. We are facing critical expenses including moving the Permanent Collection and Art School studios, and renovation of the Maynard Building requires extensive demolition of first- and third-floor spaces. This phase of construction is not part of comprehensive capital campaign; however, the partial renovation provides a vital base for our future plans.
